Claudia Oshry says her hair ‘started falling out’ as a result of taking Ozempic

Claudia Oshry detailed the hair loss she experienced when she took Ozempic for thinning.

The Girl With No Job producer, who stopped taking diabetes drugs about six months ago, shared the side effects that ruined her luscious locks during an Instagram interview with fans on Wednesday.

“Is your hair thin since Ozempic?” a curious follower asked.

Oshry, 29, responded by posting a photo of her shiny strands, explaining in the caption, “It didn’t get any thinner but it started to THROW – worse.”

The “Toast” podcast co-star shared that her hair took six to nine months to “go back to normal.”

She then expanded her hair growth routine again, saying that she does daily Vegamour hair serum treatments.

Oshry also got a prescription for Minoxidil, which is commonly used to treat male pattern baldness, and took the female hair growth supplement Nutrafol in addition to prenatal vitamins.

In the end, the stand-up comedian continued to “cut his hair in a quarter” to keep ‘doing well.

Oshry started taking Ozempic in September 2022 and lost over 70 pounds.

He first told his fans on the August 2023 episode of “The Toast” that he had switched to the jab.

“The reason I’m nervous about sharing [how much I’ve lost] it’s because I’m ashamed that I got to the point where I should have lost 70 pounds,” he said at the time.

Once Oshry reached a point where she felt she was living a healthy life, she stopped taking her medication and reflected on her journey during a visit to Page Six’s new video studio last month.

He told us: “I feel happy.

I think when I was at Ozempic, my biggest fear was getting out of it.

Oshry, who had been training for the 5K race, said she now lives a balanced life.

“I’ve had… a very bad case of anything, laziness, obesity, bad choices, [a] lack of determination. So I feel … proud of myself,” he said.

Oshry previously stated that he still struggles to feel full after coming off Ozempic.

These days, he feeds on a high-protein diet and the Weight Watchers system.
